I'm Molly Jacobson, and my husband James and I advise tens of thousands of visitors on the Maui restaurant scene.

With decades of research and nearly $107,258 invested in dining here on the island, our promise is to eat all the food no matter how bad so you don't have to waste your time, money, or taste buds when you visit.

We're passionate about food and in love with Maui (James has lived here since 1990, and Molly since 2005), and we love to give advice on the restaurant scene. Our childhoods were spent at our grandmother's elbows preparing family meals and experimenting with new ingredients.

Just one example: Gian Don's. This very attractive restaurant with its comfortable outside seating looks totally out of place overlooking noisy Kihei Road. Following the authors' suggestions we ordered the appetizer ribs and a salad and were very happy with the portions and the prices.
